A Tribute to Riot and the Tragic Story of Rhett Forrester

In this deeply personal video, Robert John Hadfield shares his discovery of the band Riot, his obsession with the album Born in America, and the powerful voice of lead singer Rhett Forrester. What begins as a nostalgic journey through underrated 80s hard rock quickly transforms into a heartbreaking look at the unsolved murder of Forrester in 1994, and the relentless efforts of his mother to preserve his memory.

🕯️ This is not just about music. It’s about memory, loss, and how we often forget the people who helped shape the soundtrack of our youth.

📚 Robert reads directly from a rare Atlanta Journal-Constitution article titled “Son’s Slaying Haunts Mom” (1995), chronicling Forrester’s death and his mother’s tireless search for justice.

🎸Whether you're a fan of Riot, grew up on '80s metal, or just appreciate the human stories behind rock legends, this episode delivers.
