Grand Funk Railroad’s Rise to Stardom – A Forgotten Rock Legend?
Description:
Hey, if you're a fan of Grand Funk Railroad or that late '60s/early '70s hard rock sound, you’re going to love this deep dive! 🎸🔥

Grand Funk Railroad was a massive deal, but many people only remember them for “We’re an American Band.” What if I told you that hit came years into their career?

In this video, I take you back to 1969-1970, when Grand Funk exploded onto the scene—releasing three albums in less than a year and selling out Madison Square Garden just six months after their debut. 🤯

I’ll also tell you how I discovered their Closer to Home album in the ‘90s, thanks to a Soundgarden-inspired studio session. You’ll hear about Sin’s a Good Man’s Brother—one of the heaviest, most powerful guitar riffs ever recorded!

📜 Plus, I’ve dug up a vintage 1970 newspaper article that proves just how massive Grand Funk was back then.

👀 If you remember Grand Funk, drop a comment with your memories! Let’s talk rock history. And if you've never heard Closer to Home, do yourself a favor—listen to it today!
